Situation
While working with the registry office, we had several days where we were short staffed during rushes at the end of the day or month.
Task
My manager would request extra hours for staff when needed during these busy times so the staff would not become overwhelmed by large numbers of customers
Action
I would come in on my days off, come in early or stay later in the day.
Result
Tasks were completed in a more timely manner, customers were efficiently helped and staff was not overworked by delegating responsibilities to more people.

During this course, I was educated on all motor vehicle services through The Motor Vehicle (MOVES) system, achieving a full accreditation status. This included:

Operator services including but not limited to: driver license applications and renewals, issuing driver's abstracts and fine payments.

Vehicle services including but not limited to: passenger and commercial vehicle registration, vehicle information reports and prorate services.
